Picture

No
photograph will last very long
if subjected to direct
sunlight. Photographs will last
many years if they are framed
behind glass and not exposed to
very bright light.
If you don’t
wish to frame photographs,
laminating is a very good
option and can extend life
considerably (many years)
because it removes the aging
effects of air and atmospheric
pollutants. I have some
laminated photographs that have
been on the wall for several
years and they still look like
the day they were
printed.
It should go
without saying but, copyright
watermarks do not appear on
prints!
